Happy New Year Coffee Lovers! We hope you had a wonderful break filled with copious amounts of iced coffee by the beach 🤤

To start the year off we’re celebrating all the incredible Coffee Festivals worldwide and bringing you ‘The Guide to Coffee Festivals around the World’. So grab a cup of our favourite brew and get ready to travel the globe.

The first CF to kick the year off is the Vienna Coffee Festival, spreading the joy from the 11th – 13th of January this year, the festival at its core is about promoting sustainable business practices in the Viennese coffee culture.

Across the ditch we have The Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE)! Coming into its 8th year of bean exhibiting, MICE creates an opportunity for wholesalers and retailers in the cafe industry to cultivate relationships and grow their business. Keen to check them out? The festival kicks off on the 7th February, right through till the 9th, with an extra treat this year – they’re hosting the Australian Coffee Championships during the three day event!! 😅

Now we’re headed to the land of the Queen, introducing The London Coffee Festival. Kicking of the UK Coffee Week, the festival is held from the 28 – 31st march. Between The Lab hosting interactive demonstrations, The Hotel Chocolat School taking you on a journey from bean to chocolate bar and the Espresso Martini Party serving up a delicious Flat White Martini (different right?!), there’s truly something for everyone at the London Coffee Festival.

A short journey away we have the Glasgow Coffee Festival 👊 Coming into its sixth year on the 4th-5th of May, the festival has a massive focus on environmental impact with the previous years festival having no disposable cups available at the event. All brews were poured into byo cups or keep cups lent out to festival attendees, epic right?!

Next in the city that never sleeps, you’ll find The New York Coffee Festival – keeping punters buzzed off of espresso martinis all night long. Taking over the Metropolitan Pavilion from the 11th-13th October, you can expect an immersive experience. Punters can partake in a ‘Sensory Experience’ where you will be guidedthrough a series of aromatic and tasting encounters designed to expand perception of flavour’.

Last but by no means least we have The Milan Coffee Festival. Ending the year off right from the 30th november – 2nd Dec, the festival takes over the historical Pelota building. With Masterclasses, live Latte art, and a trade day for suppliers and retailers. The festival is the highlight of the Milan coffee industry’s calendar.
